Senior Product Marketing Manager

Lytx is looking for the next product marketing super hero to join our team.

The Product Marketing function at Lytx is responsible for deeply understanding the market dynamics and developing and implementing effective marketing strategies and plans. In this key role, you’ll be an influential player who will unite Sales, Product Management, Client Success and Marketing in bringing industry-leading products and services to market that save lives and improve operational efficiencies. You’ll be part of an extraordinary team of hardworking, high-performing marketers who work together in a fast-paced environment to produce epic deliverables.


What you'll do:


  • Product Strategy & Launches: Partner with Product Management to influence the strategy of the product roadmap, lead high-profile product launches and releases that seamlessly transition new offerings into the current portfolio; guiding products from inception through to the end of their lifecycle
  • Messaging & Positioning: Craft highly-differentiated value propositions, positioning, and messaging that will serve as the foundation for promotional and sales content, marketing campaigns, and partner support in a competitive marketplace
  • Pricing Strategies: Lead and drive the competitive global pricing strategy to manage the mix of revenue and profit in order to achieve strong market position and ensure competitive advantage across the entire product portfolio while meeting Lytx business goals
  • Product Training: Deliver training to the sales team on the strategic vision for the product in a clear, concise and impactful manner during formal quarterly sales trainings and as needed by the sales organization
  • Market Intelligence: Understand client needs, prospect and buyer personas, market trends and the competitive landscape in order to guide positioning, inform campaign planning, and educate employees
  • Product Strategy: Partner with Product Management to influence the strategy of the product roadmap, lead high-profile product launches and feature releases as well as guide product from inception through end-of-life.
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Ensure alignment across the organization by leading, executing and communicating go-to market strategies and initiatives
  • Demand Generation Support: Contribute strategic insights to marketing campaigns that will secure mindshare across the buyer’s journey, and empower sales and client success teams to effortlessly up- and cross-sell our products and service
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Has impeccable communication skills, is a creative promotional writer and is naturally charismatic and poised in front of audiences that include clients, employees and executive leaders
  • Ability to analyze market trends and competitive landscape in order to guide product planning, positioning and drive decisions to achieve product success for the business
  • Is process oriented and knows how to streamline for efficiencies

  • Minimum 10 years of Product Marketing experience
  • Experience marketing B2B SaaS products (hardware experience a plus)
  • Impeccable verbal and written communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to lead, influence and collaborate cross-functionally
  • Critical thinker who makes data-driven decisions
  • Passionate, entrepreneurial spirit who loves to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills (PR experience a plus)
  • Curiosity for emerging high-tech trends (such as AI, IoT, Blockchain)
  • Ability to work with and provide feedback to creative and technical team members
  • Telematics or connected vehicle experience a plus
