As our first Product Marketing Manager for personal loans, you will partner closely with teams across the organization to lead product initiatives and product marketing strategy. In this high visibility, high impact role you’ll use your solid analytical framework for making data based decisions and pulling diverse groups of data together to draw insights, create strategy and go-to market action plans.

- Work cross-functionally to influence all consumer focused touch points and lead product marketing initiatives
- Build out a clear understanding of consumer journey from awareness of Upstart, through loan payoff and repeat.
- Demonstrate understanding of the broader Upstart ecosystem to develop strategic product direction and positioning.
- Help define Upstart’s brand - what we want to stand for with consumers, what our points of difference are as a brand, company and product, and how we articulate those differences.
- Represent the member and market (including customer journey and target personas/segments) generated from consumer and competitive insights.
Here is what we’re looking for:
- 4-6 years of relevant marketing experience, preferably in consumer product marketing/brand management with strong digital marketing.
- Exceptional project management and prioritization skills.
- Experience creating & implementing consumer segmentation based on demographics, behaviors, attitudes and customer lifetime value.
- Demonstrated track record of creating marketing campaigns across a variety of communication channels.
- Strong quantitative and analytical ability - use data to drive strategy, execution, and optimization.
- Experience managing projects with several cross-functional stakeholders.
- Consumer led thinking.
- Powerful storyteller: written, verbal, and visual.
- Success in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, high growth environment.
